About
Subitizing refers to the ability to recognize a number of objects without counting them individually. For example, you likely recognize a dice pattern without counting the dots one by one.
These subitizing sorts will give students the opportunity to build their number sense and subitize using multiple representations – tally marks, dot patterns, base ten blocks, dice, and ten frames.
