Ready to infuse real-life experience into your Math class? Math projects are a great way to do just that!
All curriculum is best suited to Grades 4-5, but is also a great way for sixth grade students to work with skills that they already have learned. Learning how to problem-solve in real life scenarios is one of the biggest goals of these Math Projects!
Ideas for Use
Math projects are an ideal way to consolidate learning. I recommend using them as an engaging activity AFTER skills have been learned rather than during learning. You will likely find that engagement is very high and that your students ask to do more of these!
There are many ways to use math projects in your classroom. Some of the most popular are:
•a small-group or pairs activity
•a guided math activity to allow you to see where your students are struggling
•a fun, rewarding way to engage your early finishers
•a low-prep, easy-to-implement activity for a substitute teacher

What Teachers Are Saying
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "This bundle has been so helpful last year and this year! I have used these different math projects as engaging work for sub days, as fast-finisher/extension options, student-led projects during testing time, asynchronous work, and culminating group tasks at the end of a unit. Students are always excited to see what the next "theme" will be, and it's taken a lot of stress off my plate over the last two school years to have these resources in my pocket when I need to come up with an engaging activity!" Sweet-n-Salty Teaching
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I used this product with some of my fast finishers and students who needed a little extra challenge. This resource did the trick and kept those students engaged and critically thinking. I look forward to using this resource throughout the rest of the school year! Thank you for creating this remarkable resource!" Subi S.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I love using this resource! It is a great way to follow up with concepts that are taught. I've used as an introduction to new topics, but also as an end unit for students to apply what they've learned. I will definitely be using them throughout the year. I try to parallel the units with other math projects that are harder/simpler in order to differentiate learning." Terra G.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "These are brilliant! I used these with small groups, I have some students who really love math and loved the challenges behind the escape rooms. They like to challenge themselves and would check in with their peers (very competitive) to see if they had completed a certain section. I also have a group who really dislike math, so they worked in small groups to solve the escape rooms. They loved it." Simone J.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "My students love escape rooms. I am always looking for engaging math activities for my students to participate in. These concepts and the activities that go along with them, are fun and informative. They encourage my students to remain on task and take responsibility for completing their activities on time."
