This particular Addition Gallery Walk includes cards at three different levels to suit the unique needs of your classroom. Level 1 includes numbers 1-20, Level 2 includes numbers 1-100, and Level 3 includes numbers 1-1000. A gallery walk is a fantastic way to get students up and moving around the classroom, while completing curriculum-related tasks that will reinforce their knowledge.
During a gallery walk, cards are posted around the room, each containing a task for students to complete. Students move around the room, completing the tasks on their recording sheet.
Gallery walks integrate movement into a lesson that reinforces essential knowledge. Kinesthetic learners are engaged, and classroom management issues become minimal.
Gallery walks are a great idea for formal observations by your administration, as you are integrating other intelligences into your math lesson.
Each level includes 25 gallery walk cards with answer key.
