About
A gallery walk is a fantastic way to get students up and moving around the classroom, while completing curriculum-related tasks that will reinforce their knowledge. This gallery walk focuses on rounding to the nearest 10. Differentiate for the variety of abilities in your classroom with three levels: 2-digit numbers, 3-digit numbers, and 4-digit numbers.
How It Works
During a gallery walk, cards are posted around the room, each containing a task for students to complete. Students move around the room, completing the tasks on their recording sheet.
Gallery walks integrate movement into a lesson that reinforces essential knowledge. Kinesthetic learners are engaged, and classroom management issues become minimal.
Gallery walks are a great idea for formal observations by your administration, as you are integrating other intelligences into your math lesson.
What's Included?
There are three levels included, each containing 25 gallery walk cards, a recording sheet, and an answer key.
