These decimal puzzles are an excellent way for your students to practice working with multiple representations of decimal numbers. Make connections between word form, visual models, money, fractions, and decimals to build true understanding! This is a great way to support the Concrete-Representational-Abstract model in your classroom.
To prepare, laminate and cut apart the pieces. Mix up the pieces, and have students put the puzzles together.
These decimal puzzles can be used as an independent math center, early finisher activity, math tub, math warm-up, or even as an assessment to help drive your instruction!
