About
This particular Addition Gallery Walk reinforces left-to-right addition and includes scaffolding on the recording sheet for those still using the step-by-step process. Two levels are included: no regrouping and some regrouping.
A gallery walk is a fantastic way to get students up and moving around the classroom, while completing curriculum-related tasks that will reinforce their knowledge.
How It Works
During a gallery walk, cards are posted around the room, each containing a task for students to complete. Students move around the room, completing the tasks on their recording sheet.
Gallery walks integrate movement into a lesson that reinforces essential knowledge. Kinesthetic learners are engaged, and classroom management issues become minimal.
Gallery walks are a great idea for formal observations by your administration, as you are integrating other intelligences into your math lesson.
What's Included?
Each level includes 25 gallery walk cards and an answer key.
