Get really strategic with multi-digit multiplication this year with this resource!
To begin teaching multi-digit multiplication, we teach common patterns and "rules." Multiplying by 10, 100, and 1,000 is important to explicitly teach, as there is important place value understanding involved. These task cards have been designed so that your students will receive practice with multiplying 2-digit numbers by 10, 100, and 1,000 in many different ways.
This resource is a fantastic supplement to those teachers currently using the Multi-Digit Multiplication Station in their classrooms.
