This set of task cards reinforces composing and decomposing numbers to 1,000 in different ways. Practicing this concept will help your students achieve conceptual understanding of place value. For example, the number 213 could be made using 2 hundreds, 1 ten, and 3 ones OR 2 hundreds and 13 ones.
If your curriculum expects students to work with numbers to 1,200, I have included six bonus task cards that you can use.
